POORMAN'S RACING RULES

1. Numbers should be visible on both sides and should be a contrasting color.
2. All burnable material, excluding drivers seat, safety harness or seat belt, will be removed.
3. All glass and plastic, air bags, door handles, chrome, lights and all sharp objects will be removed. Mirrors are ok.
4. No reinforcing of any kind, EXCEPT DRIVERS DOOR.
5. 2 door bars required, 3" or 4" wide 1/2" thick on drivers door.
6. Head of bolts on outside.  USE ROUNDED STOVE OR CARRIAGE HEAD BOLTS 3 per bar.
7. Bars need to overlap to wheel well.  Grater blades ok.
8. Battery must be secured and covered no closer the 12" to fuel tank.
9. Fuel tanks must be secured 2 different directions NO RUBBER STRAPS, covered with non-burnable material.
10. Fire extinguishers workable in pit area.
11. Helmet and eye protection required.
12. Hood, trunk and all doors secured with chain only.
13. No excessive use of material- TECH-MAN DISCRETION.
14. No seam welding or bolt rods or any strengthening material-frames and suspension points, such as upper lower control arms.
15. 1/2 drivers windshield and 1/2 drivers window to be screened in to prevent arm/hand outside.
16. REGULAR AUTO TIRES ONLY
17. Fuel tank stock location ok.
18. Front end reinforced-ok-OEM bumper ok, no material bigger than 3: box iron or tubing, NO FLAT METAL FOR BUMPER.  Sharp corners must not stick out past inside of tires.

1. Must hit within 1 minute after last contact.
2. No hitting in drivers door.
3. Teaming up will be discouraged.  This is not a team sport.
4. Demos must have gas tank inside.
5. Bumper reinforcement needs to be removed.
6. If you are asked to break your stick and don't, you will forfeit all monies earned up to this point.

1. NO ACCELERATION OUTSIDE RACE TRACK.
2. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL DRINKING IN PIT AREA UNTIL CAR IS LOADED.
3. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LOAD YOUR CAR.
4. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GO TO PIT BOSS.
5. NO NON-BANDED PERSONS IN PIT AREA
6. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 IN PIT AREA.
